Gucci
20 year old Purebred Arabian Mare
GUCCI has been with us since she was 6 months old! Purchased from near Port Lincoln, on the West Coast of SA in 2006, Gucci has seen many changes over the years. Gucci has attended pony club, endurance social rides, trail rides, barrel racing, western competitions, horse shows, and horse agility. She is also a star of a recent TV commercial.
Gucci is our Go-To horse for everything from Ground Skills to Therapeutic Riding. Gucci's quiet, accepting nature is wonderful for emotional regulation and her no-fuss attitude helps people feel relaxed and confident in their learning.
Gem
12 year old Purebred Arabian Mare
GEM has only just commenced her saddle career, but is she keen to engage with people in our Experiential Therapy program on the ground. Gem has an amazing ability to reflect very clearly what people are thinking or feeling and is quite forthcoming with her opinions. She is a wonderful addition to the Therapeutic team.
Izzy
15 year old Partbred Arabian Mare
ZZY joined the team at Miracle Park, arriving from the Adelaide Hills at the beginning of May 2021. Izzy had previously engaged in dressage education and endurance training rides with various riders, but hadn't yet found her people. She was a bit flighty when she first came to us and had a few phobias which we have been working through with impressive results. Izzy has been included in our Ground Skills and Experiential Therapy
Sheena
26 year old Purebred Arabian mare
Sheena has been with me since 2004 and was one of my foundation mares for breeding Arabians. Sheena has done a little bit of everything over the years including endurance, pony club, trail rides and taught all of my children how to ride!
Sheena still loves to join in the therapeutic activities and is included in our groundwork and ridden teams
Smurf
14 year old Standardbred Gelding
Smurf is relatively new to Miracle Park and has needed to recover and gain some weight before trialling him in our therapy programs
Zaffy
11 year old Arabian Stockhorse gelding
Zaffy is the son of Sheena and has been started under saddle and has just joined the therapy team. He still needs to learn the ropes and have more training under his belt, but he is learning quickly and will soon be a regular feature in client sessions
Storm
10 year old Arabian Stockhorse gelding
Storm is a half brother to Zaffy by the same stallion (different mothers) and they are best friends in the herd. Storm has experienced some trauma and chooses not to engage in ridden work, however he is an amazing part of our therapy team and engages with clients on a deeper level
Holly
20 year old Palomino American Shetland Miniature Pony Mare
HOLLY might be small, but she has a big personality! Holly joined Miracle Park with the two other Tiny Team mares in October 2021 and had not spent much time around children previously. She loves cuddles and carrots and enjoys eating hay while being brushed. Holly is our main go-to pony for our Horse Time! programs and is wonderfully tolerant with all the children. She is also part of our Therapeutic Riding program and has brought such joy to our tiny clients already.
Dolly
13 year old Bay Palouse Miniature Pony Mare
DOLLY is one of our smaller ponies and very shy, she is the last one to come for pats and carrots, however she is still a valuable part of our Therapy Team in time due to her very responsive nature. DOLLY has already helped a few shy kids feel safe and comfortable, as she is small enough not to be intimidating.
Lilly
8 year old Roan Palouse Miniature Pony Mare.
LILLY was gifted to us at the start of 2024 along with her paddock buddy Smeagol. Lilly is a valuable part of our team engaging with kids confidently. Nothing fazes this gorgeous pony and she has been on many adventures including Loxton Mardi gras, the Riverland Field Days, Bonney Lodge Nursing home and her most recent adventure is mothering her beautiful young foal by Renegade

Aged Roan Palouse Miniature Pony Gelding
SMEAGOL arrived with LILLY in early 2024 and has won hearts with everyone who meets him. He is not quite like the other ponies and has a few health issues and disabilities, but his endearing nature makes him a firm favourite in all of our group sessions
Spirit & Rain
15 year old Miniature Buckskin Shetland Pony Gelding & 6 year old Miniature Pinto Shetland Pony Mare
SPIRIT arrived earlier this year along with RAIN from the Mindful Paddock in the Adelaide Hills. Rain is the life of the party and loves absolutely everyone (except the other ponies!), while Spirit is a little cautious but it starting to get used to his new life in the Therapy Team and together they have made appearances at the Monash Markets, a Mind Australia event on the Berri Riverfront and the Barmera Health Service Open Day.
